Pickleball Kingdom continues its rapid national expansion with the announcement of a new indoor facility in Livermore, California, bringing the fast-growing franchise’s premium indoor pickleball experience to the San Francisco Bay Area’s Tri-Valley region. The club is expected to open between late 2026 and early 2027.
The new location will occupy more than 25,000 square feet in the Arroyo Seco Shopping Center at 4650 Arroyo Vista, transforming a former Joann store into an eight-court, climate-controlled pickleball destination. Designed to provide year-round play regardless of weather, the facility will feature professional-grade indoor courts, coaching programs, leagues, tournaments, clinics, open play and community events for players of all skill levels.
The Livermore club will be owned and operated by franchisees Abhimanyu Dhariwal and Shreya Trivedi, Bay Area entrepreneurs who currently own and operate educational businesses throughout the region. Both said their goal is to make pickleball more accessible by creating a welcoming environment for everyone—from first-time players to seasoned competitors—while complementing the area’s existing outdoor court network with consistent, year-round indoor programming.
Pickleball Kingdom founder and CEO Ace Rodrigues said the new facility reflects the company’s continued momentum across the West Coast, where demand for dedicated indoor pickleball venues continues to grow. Company President and Chief Global Officer Rob Streett added that the Livermore franchise ownership team embodies the community-first approach the brand seeks as it expands nationwide.
The announcement marks another milestone in Pickleball Kingdom’s aggressive California growth strategy. Earlier this year, the company unveiled plans for statewide expansion through multiple franchise agreements, reinforcing its ambition to become the leading provider of indoor pickleball facilities as participation in the sport continues to accelerate across North America.
