US Squash and Dunlop Renew Partnership, Launch Initiative to Grow Participation

US Squash and Dunlop are extending their longstanding partnership, with the equipment manufacturer continuing as the organization’s Official Ball Supplier while introducing a new initiative aimed at making squash more accessible to recreational and developing players.

Central to the agreement is the “Use the Right Ball” campaign, which promotes five different squash ball types matched to five levels of play. The initiative addresses a common barrier to entry in squash: beginners often struggle with competition-level balls that require greater hitting power and sustained rallies to perform properly. By encouraging players to use equipment suited to their abilities, the organizations hope to improve the learning experience, increase enjoyment and support long-term participation.

Scheduled to launch in early 2027 alongside the U.S. retail availability of the new balls, the campaign will complement Dunlop’s continued supply of thousands of competition-ready balls for US Squash-accredited tournaments, National Championships and programming at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia.

Dunlop will also join the US Squash Official Supplier Program, with both organizations exploring exclusive benefits for US Squash members.

From a business perspective, the renewed agreement extends Dunlop’s presence across competitive and recreational squash while connecting product development with grassroots participation. For US Squash, the initiative represents a practical approach to expanding the sport’s player base by addressing equipment-related challenges that can discourage newcomers. The partnership underscores the growing importance of accessible equipment and beginner-friendly programming in building a sustainable squash market nationwide.
