As pickleball equipment innovation accelerates, a new product launch is targeting one of the sport’s most persistent performance issues: paddle wear. PaddleTechPro LLC has announced the upcoming release of JOOLAREPAIR, a restoration spray designed to recover lost surface friction and spin on worn pickleball paddles in as little as three seconds.
According to the company, regular paddle use can reduce surface friction by 20% to 35% within just a few months of play, impacting spin generation, grip consistency, and overall control. JOOLAREPAIR uses what PaddleTechPro describes as a proprietary “micro-reconditioning” penetration technology that restores paddle surfaces without damaging the original material. The spray is designed for use across carbon fiber, fiberglass, and composite paddle constructions.

Independent ASTM D1894 friction coefficient testing cited by the company reportedly showed the spray restoring paddles to between 95% and 99% of factory-level performance, with friction increases ranging from 13% to 27%. PaddleTechPro positions the product as both a performance and sustainability play, extending paddle lifespan while reducing replacement frequency for players.
JOOLAREPAIR is scheduled for official release in June 2026.
