The Women’s Tennis Association has entered into a new multi-year partnership with Accenture aimed at modernizing the digital infrastructure behind women’s professional tennis and enhancing the athlete experience through AI, data, and technology-driven operations. The collaboration positions Accenture as an Official Business and Technology Consulting Partner of the WTA and reflects the broader acceleration of digital transformation initiatives across global sports properties.
An initial focus of the partnership will center on redesigning the WTA Player Zone, the tour’s primary digital platform used by athletes for tournament operations, scheduling, communications, and support services. According to the organizations, the upgraded system will leverage AI and advanced data tools to create a more seamless and intuitive experience for players competing across the WTA’s global calendar of more than 50 tournaments in 26 countries.
The partnership underscores how governing bodies and professional tours are increasingly investing in enterprise-grade technology infrastructure as sports organizations evolve into data-driven media and entertainment businesses. In addition to athlete-facing systems, the collaboration is expected to support broader operational scaling, fan engagement initiatives, and digital content development tied to the continued growth of women’s tennis globally.

WTA Ventures CEO Marina Storti described the initiative as part of the organization’s larger strategy to strengthen athlete support while continuing to expand the commercial reach of women’s tennis. Accenture executives framed the partnership as another example of the company’s expanding footprint across international sports, where AI, analytics, and digital experiences are becoming increasingly central to both fan engagement and operational efficiency.
The agreement continues a period of significant commercial momentum for the WTA, following recent global sponsorship growth, expanded fan engagement initiatives, a new brand identity rollout, and record-setting prize money at the 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh presented by PIF. The organization has increasingly positioned itself as a modern, athlete-first sports property with an emphasis on innovation, player wellbeing, and international expansion.
For Accenture, the WTA deal further expands the consulting giant’s growing portfolio of sports partnerships tied to technology transformation, including recent agreements across golf and other major global sports organizations. The company continues to position AI, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics as foundational tools in the future commercialization and operational management of professional sports.
