The HotelPlanner Tennis Tour has announced a new partnership with Tecnifibre aimed at providing emerging professional tennis players with equipment, apparel and sponsorship opportunities as they work toward the next stage of their careers.
Under the agreement, Tecnifibre will supply tournament balls and, as the U.S. distributor of Lacoste Sport Performance Products, provide Lacoste apparel to support the developmental circuit. Players will also gain access to Tecnifibre racquets, strings, bags and accessories, along with potential sponsorship opportunities.
The partnership includes additional benefits tied to player performance. Competitors reaching the round of 32 at HotelPlanner Tennis Tour events will receive access to discounts on Tecnifibre products, while the top five players in the Tour’s year-end leaderboard race will become eligible for Tecnifibre sponsorship opportunities.
Tour Director James Cox said the partnership addresses one of the significant challenges facing players attempting to establish professional careers — securing the financial and equipment support necessary to continue competing and developing. Tecnifibre said the collaboration reflects its commitment to supporting players throughout the development pipeline, rather than focusing exclusively on established ATP and WTA professionals.
The HotelPlanner Tennis Tour operates as a developmental professional circuit designed to provide competitive opportunities and industry support for rising players pursuing careers on the international stage. Tecnifibre, founded in France in 1979, produces equipment for tennis, squash, pickleball and padel and maintains a presence across professional racquet sports.
