Mouratoglou Tennis Lands in New York as Club Fit Converts Two Westchester Clubs

The Pinebrook Group expands its partnership with Patrick Mouratoglou’s global academy brand, bringing its first two New York tennis centers to Briarcliff Manor and Jefferson Valley.

Patrick Mouratoglou’s tennis brand has officially arrived in New York. Club Fit’s two Westchester County clubs, in Briarcliff Manor and Jefferson Valley, have joined the global Mouratoglou Tennis Centers network, becoming the first Mouratoglou-branded locations in the state. The Briarcliff operation will now be known as Mouratoglou Tennis Center New York, while Jefferson Valley becomes Mouratoglou Tennis Center Westchester.

The move extends a relationship that began in 2025, when The Pinebrook Group opened Mouratoglou Tennis Center Boston at The Thoreau Club in Concord, Mass., the brand’s first New England location. Pinebrook owns all three clubs and now operates three of the network’s more than 20 centers worldwide.

According to Keith Callahan, CEO of Pinebrook’s Athletic Club Division, member response to the Boston program beat expectations, which drove the decision to expand. Massimo Policastro, Tennis Director at The Thoreau Club, led that launch and will oversee the Mouratoglou program across all three Pinebrook properties.

The biggest change for members is in coaching. Every coach at both Westchester clubs will be trained and certified in the Mouratoglou methodology, with multiple training sessions each year, and that training is already under way. Club Fit has also added eight coaches to its tennis staff, six at Briarcliff and two at Jefferson Valley.

The facilities are getting a refresh as well. Indoor hard courts at both clubs will be repainted in Mouratoglou colors starting this winter, with new windscreens and court dividers planned for spring 2027 and new signage expected in early 2027.

Mouratoglou Tennis Center New York at Briarcliff offers nine courts: seven Har-Tru courts under a seasonal bubble and two indoor hard courts. The club is also adding a HYROX training studio, which will soft-launch in December. Mouratoglou Tennis Center Westchester at Jefferson Valley has six courts, with four Har-Tru courts under a seasonal bubble and two indoor hard courts.

Mouratoglou has coached some of the sport’s biggest names, including Serena Williams, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune and Naomi Osaka. His academy says it has helped produce more than 40 Top 100 players and 10 Grand Slam titles. He has described opening in New York, home of the US Open, as especially meaningful.

Club Fit has served northern Westchester families for more than 50 years. In 2025, its Jefferson Valley location was added to New York State’s Historic Business Preservation Registry. Pinebrook, a Boston-based investment firm focused on sports and real estate, serves more than 20,000 members across its Northeast club portfolio.
