Pickleball Kingdom is accelerating its expansion in New Jersey with plans for a 42,508-square-foot indoor facility in Woodbridge Township, marking the franchise operator’s fifth location in the state. Expected to open in early 2027, the new club will strengthen the company’s regional presence alongside locations in Hamilton, Tinton Falls, Watchung and Hillsborough.
Located at 465 Green Street within the Woodbridge Crossing shopping center, near Woodbridge Center Mall, the facility will feature 14 professional-grade, climate-controlled pickleball courts, a half court, two warm-up walls and two large party rooms. The club will also incorporate instant replay technology, digital scoreboards and a full slate of programming, including leagues, clinics, youth development, tournaments and community events.
The Woodbridge franchise is owned by entrepreneurs Vidya Rentachintala and Ramya Pasupaleti, who bring backgrounds in technology, business leadership and entrepreneurship. They will be joined by management partners Vicky and Purna, whose experience spans analytics, artificial intelligence, business development and IT services. The female-led ownership group reflects the increasingly diverse pool of entrepreneurs entering the pickleball facility market.
For Pickleball Kingdom, the project reinforces a strategy of building regional density through locally operated franchises. Founder and CEO Ace Rodrigues identified New Jersey as an important growth market for the brand, while emphasizing the value of the Woodbridge club’s leadership team.
The development also highlights the growing appeal of shopping centers as locations for large-format indoor pickleball facilities. By occupying a prominent space within an established retail destination, the Woodbridge club will combine year-round recreational access with organized competition, instruction and social programming.
Beyond court rentals, the facility’s party rooms, youth programs and planned events create opportunities for multiple revenue streams and sustained customer engagement. The ownership team also hopes to establish Woodbridge as a destination for competitive pickleball and future tournaments.
As indoor pickleball franchises continue to expand, the Woodbridge project illustrates how operators are positioning facilities as community-oriented sports and entertainment destinations rather than simply places to play. For Pickleball Kingdom, the addition represents another step toward building a scalable national network supported by local ownership and year-round programming.
