JPMorganChase Celebrates 45 Years of US Open Partnership

JPMorganChase is marking a major sponsorship milestone at this year’s US Open, celebrating 45 years of partnership with the tournament while rolling out new fan experiences, customer benefits and community initiatives across the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The relationship, which dates to 1982, makes JPMorganChase one of the US Open’s longest-standing corporate partners. For 2026, the financial services company is building on that history with activations designed to combine tennis with distinctly New York experiences while providing additional benefits to both Chase customers and the broader tournament audience.

New this year is Chase Market, an activation modeled after a classic New York City bodega. Fans visiting the space can receive scratch-off tickets offering giveaways and prizes. Another new experience gives attendees the opportunity to pose for a tennis-themed magazine cover and receive a personalized digital version.

Chase is also providing 29 complimentary mobile charging stations throughout the tournament grounds, including locations at Champions Plaza and beneath the Chase Lounge. The charging service is available to all fans.

Inside the Chase Lounge, the company is adding a matcha bar serving beverages during daytime sessions and matcha popsicles in the evening. The hospitality space also offers light bites, air conditioning, mobile charging and live tennis coverage. Elsewhere on the grounds, the Chase Terrace provides an open-air area for match viewing and refreshments.

The partnership also extends beyond hospitality and fan engagement. Through its ongoing Return the Serve initiative with the USTA Foundation, JPMorganChase supports National Junior Tennis and Learning chapters serving more than 21,000 young people annually. The program uses tennis and educational opportunities to reach young people in communities across the country.

For the racquet sports industry, the 45-year relationship offers a notable example of how a longstanding sports sponsorship can evolve well beyond traditional signage and brand exposure. JPMorganChase has increasingly incorporated hospitality, experiential marketing, customer rewards, community programming and on-site services into its US Open presence.

As the US Open itself has grown into an international sports and entertainment destination, Chase has remained part of the tournament’s commercial landscape for more than four decades—an unusually long partnership in modern sports sponsorship.

This year’s program demonstrates how the relationship continues to evolve, using the US Open not only to reach tennis fans but also to connect the Chase brand with New York culture, customer experiences and grassroots participation in the sport.
