JOOLA is extending its reach beyond traditional racquet sports consumers through a new collaboration with two-time Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki, launching a limited-edition collection of pickleball paddles and table tennis rackets inspired by the artist’s HiROQUEST entertainment universe. The partnership brings together performance sports equipment, music, original artwork and collectibles in a premium product offering aimed at players and Aoki’s broader fan base.
Released October 6, the four-piece collection includes two JOOLA Perseus Pro V 16mm pickleball paddles priced at $349.95 each and two Infinity Carbon table tennis rackets retailing for $199.95 each. The equipment features artwork based on Hiro and Hyro, the opposing characters in Aoki’s HiROQUEST saga, which has expanded from music into graphic novels, manga and trading cards. Each product also includes a randomized collectible character card, with select numbered editions adding an element of scarcity to the release.

Steve Aoki shows off the Hiro and Hyro colorways of the limited-edition JOOLA x Steve Aoki HiROQUEST Perseus Pro V 16mm pickleball paddles. The collection, which also includes two Infinity Carbon table tennis rackets, drops October 6, 2026, exclusively at JOOLA.com
The collaboration builds on an established relationship between JOOLA and Aoki, an avid pickleball and table tennis player. The two previously worked together through the Aoki Foundation, which supports research into brain health and active aging. JOOLA President and CEO Richard Lee described the new collection as an extension of that relationship, bringing Aoki’s creative work directly into the company’s equipment lineup.
From a business perspective, the release illustrates how racquet sports brands are increasingly using entertainment partnerships, limited-edition products and collectible merchandise to reach audiences beyond competitive players. By combining established performance platforms with Aoki’s intellectual property, JOOLA is positioning its equipment as both sporting goods and lifestyle collectibles, creating opportunities to attract music fans, collectors and consumers willing to pay a premium for exclusive designs.
The JOOLA x Steve Aoki HiROQUEST collection is available exclusively through JOOLA’s website, reinforcing the brand’s direct-to-consumer strategy while adding another crossover collaboration to its growing pickleball and table tennis portfolio.
